This selection of photos was completed for a unit during the first year of my Level 3 Creative Media Course at Truro College. The genre of photography that I decided to go with was Portrait Photography for the majority of the photos, the rest of the photos are a mix of Abstract Portrait Photography, Object Photography, Low Light Photography and Long Exposure Photography.

All of these photos were shot on a Canon 700D DSLR camera that I borrowed from college and the editing program that I used was Adobe Photoshop CC 2017, I chose this software because I had a lot of previous experience with it and it is very easy to use.

I received a pass: good for this unit which is equivalent to a merit in regular diploma grades, my practical work also bordered on a pass: excellent which is equivalent to a distinction. Overall I am pleased with the work I completed here and although photography is not my main passion, I am keen to learn more about it.

This is a small collection of my photography. This collection is mostly made up of photos taken at concerts, little photoshoots with my mates or photos taken in my spare time whenever I see something that I think would look nice. I do not intend for this section to be a display of my best work, it just showcases some extra work that I enjoy completing in my spare time.

Almost all of these photos are taken on my current iPhone XR or my old iPhone 7 Plus. The editing program I used on some of these photos was Adobe Lightroom Mobile. I tend to employ my own style of editing that consists of strong levels of saturation to make the colours more vibrant and dominant in the photo and some grain to give the photo a more vintage look.
